Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between soft and high pressure washing?

Soft washing of surfaces uses the pressure that comes from your normal garden hose or tank. We use anti mould agents applied with soft bristle brushes to remove dirt, mould, grime and other material from your house and other external surfaces. This method does not damage painted or timber surfaces. High pressure cleaning uses a specific machine that creates an extremely powerful force of water that blasts away stains and grime from hard surfaces such as driveways and paths.

How long does it take?

It depends on how large the property is, the height of the property and what exactly needs to be done. That said, the average 3 bedroom family home and external paths takes about a day. If the roof needs to be done as well, then it may take up to 2 days if access is easy. Sometimes we may need to hire a boom-lift if access is difficult which could increase the time taken to 3 days to complete the job. Obviously the larger the property the longer it takes.

Are you insured against damage to my property of if you injure yourself while working on my property?

Yes we have public liability insurance which protects you and us against any damage to your or any 3rd party property as a result of an accident. We are also fully insured against any injury to our employees.

Do you use environmentally friendly products?

We use a variety of environmentally friendly products supplied to us from SoSafe. These non-hazardous and bio degradable products are used to lift off the more intense stains and prevent mould returning.

How much does it cost?

It’s surprisingly affordable, call us for a free quote or apply online!

Does it damage plants or trees?

We take special care not to damage the trees, shrubs of plants in the garden. We take steps to ensure the garden is well watered before starting any procedure, and then rinse any foliage and soil immediately after the paths or house are washed to minimise any impact. If necessary we will cover any plants to ensure there is no damage.
